“Joe greets you with a friendly smile no matter if he is opening or you’re just squeezing in there at closing. He’s always joking, singing, having a great time and full of joie de vivre. It seems to spill out and infect the other employees and all the shoppers. This is a popular location because of the mall and of course, Thrifty’s being next door. The aisles and shelves are spilling over with abundantly stocked offerings from all over the world. Mysterious ice lollies with an indecipherable Eastern European label lie next to frozen raw octopus and fermented organic Japanese soybeans. Tins of kalamata olive oil and jars of tomato-based European products, Turkish dried fruit and all manner of Asian sauces, goat’s cheese, smoked tofu, fresh lion’s mane mushrooms, fresh lemongrass stalks. These are the kinds of culinary treasures you can expect to find here, alongside the typical farm market fare.

“I love this produce market! The owners are super friendly and accommodating. They even stayed open a little later one evening when I ran in last minute. The produce is always fresh and reasonably priced. We buy all our produce staples there, including spices, pasta and Italissma canned goods. Their kale is always super clean and crispy. Oh, and the corn tortilla’s are fabulous. I highly recommend this local shop.”

“Our household has shopped at Joe’s for years making Joe’s our first choice for shopping for veggies, fruit, goat’s milk including food for our parrot. The selection of fruits and vegetable is wonderful including the local salmon with Ellis salmon burgers being our favourite. Now that phone orders are an option, home service is same day often delivered within hours. It is a good thing have a small local business such as Joe’s in Tsawwassen in this day and age.”

Joe’s is a great produce outlet. The freshest mushrooms in “T town,” and they have lots of other ethnic foods and—- they bring in every couple of weeks the most DELICIOUS loaves, (variations of banana loaf.). They are artisan made, so moist and delicious and the ingredients are VERY healthy.

My family & I have been enjoying the best local produce and awesome selection for any foodie! They offer the best value and service and we are privileged to have them in our town. Joe is an old school vendor who puts the customer first! Worth the visit to check out their wide selection of goods.
